In an event marked by elegance and festivity, the Creekvibes Stamp of Excellence Awards honored 44 distinguished Nigerians who have made outstanding contributions across diverse fields, including maritime, politics, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.

Held at Zigi Hotel and Suite in Akowonjo, Lagos, on November 3, 2024, the award ceremony attracted an esteemed audience from Nigeria’s most influential sectors.

The evening celebrated numerous industry titans, including Amb. (Prince) Yommy Eshinlokun Ogungbe, who received the “Most Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year” award, and Dr. Leonard O. Anyanwu, named “Creekvibes Man of the Year 2024.” Hon. Dr. Oluwasegun Alade Musa was recognized as “Best West Africa Global Transport Consultant 2024,” and Mbamalu Valentine, MD/CEO of Red Pastures Limited, received the “Ark of Development of the Year” award.

The maritime industry shone brightly, with Engr. Sese Michael Atina awarded “Best Maritime Company of the Year 2024,” Comptroller Dera A. Nnadi, mni, as “Maritime Man of the Moment,” and DC. Aliyu I. Gambo as “Maritime Super Corp of the Year.” CSP Olusegun Abifarin took home the “Super Corp of the Year” award, while Cmpt Ayo Ebunoluwa (retd.) earned the title of “Maritime Sea Lion of the Year.”

In a nod to Nollywood’s creative power, five actors, including Joy Anyim, awarded “Nollywood Most Creative Actress of the Year,” and Queen Okafor, honored as “Great, Ageless Queen Mother of Nollywood,” traveled from Asaba, Delta State, to partake in the celebration. Other notable winners included Faith Ononiwu, Prittican Yakubu, and Esther Nwachukwu (aka Esther Sky 77).

Creekvibes’ convener, Oluwadamilare Daniels, emphasised the magazine’s commitment to recognising leaders and innovators in their fields. “As a world-class publication with a seven-year legacy, we are thrilled to host the 3rd edition of these awards, which highlight groundbreaking contributions to nation-building and community development,” he said.

The honorees expressed gratitude for the recognition, represented by Omolara Oguntuyi, who lauded Creekvibes for its integrity in spotlighting talent and hard work.
