Senator Neda Imasuen on Friday played host to a delegation from the RODI Foundation, led by Nollywood veteran Onuwura Agility.
The courtesy visit, which held at the Senator’s office in Abuja saw the presence of notable industry icons including Paul Obazele, Patience Ozokwor (Mama G), and Dokpesi Regina.
The purpose of the visit was to formally brief the Senator on the upcoming RODI Gala Night, a prestigious annual event designed to honour legends and spotlight emerging talents across the sports, music, and film industries. The gala, according to the team, not only to celebrate achievements but also seeks to create a structured platform for the welfare and retirement of industry veterans.
Speaking during the visit, Onuwura Agility expressed deep appreciation to Senator Imasuen for granting them audience and appealed for his support towards making the event a resounding success.
In his response, Senator Imasuen commended the team for their vision and assured them of his willingness to support initiatives that uplift creative industries and promote cultural legacy.
