Great Nigerian Chefs and beloved Colleagues, today marks the day Nigeria took responsibility for fate, decisions and survival.
Today marks the 64th year of that independence decision, down the line agreeably it has not been an easy and smooth progress for the country

Let’s keep hope alive, let’s be deliberate in our strife to succeed as an individual and as an Association.
Being deliberate means each and every one of us devotedly ensuring that the economic challenges in the country does not create any atom of depression to us.
As skills and creative professionals, it would be out of place to allow ourselves enslaved by the economic impact. Yes! It might give a little shake up on our budgets and life-styles but should not have significant pressure capable of causing depression as it is observed with our persons in the other economic spheres of the country.

The Arts and Creative economy has a natural thick skin to repel reasonable economic pressure and most reliable sources of economic independence which the government should invest in and work fervently to develop, support and sustain.

As an Association, we will continue to solicit for government support in the development of the sector and empowerment of the Association to enlarge the scope of its successes in the training and retraining of the country’s energetic youths and the society in general.

As we celebrate this year’s independence day, let us use our God given talent, skills and creativity to salvage the nation’s economy by engaging in more sensitization campaigns among the youth to look into their inner-self and develop their inner God given artistic capabilities transforming such to economic values and financial independence.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION.
