Idealab Agency has formally initiated a request for strategic engagement with the Benue State Government to advance a comprehensive development agenda aimed at reducing poverty, creating jobs, and stimulating inclusive economic growth across the state.
The proposed engagement is backed by ongoing collaboration with leading global and national institutions, including the World Bank Group, the United Nations, the Federal Government of Nigeria, and private sector investors. These partnerships are focused on mobilizing critical funding and technical resources to support transformative projects in key sectors.
Mr. Aondoakaa, said the initiative targets priority areas essential to long-term development and economic resilience, including:
Energy, Power generation, distribution, and revenue systems Agriculture: Extension services, input support, credit access, and digital inclusion Humanitarian Interventions, Conflict prevention and management, IDP resettlement, and empowerment programs Water Resources: Boreholes, dams, and irrigation systems
Solid Minerals and Manufacturing: Resource development and industrial growth
According to the Director General of Idealab, Mr. Emmanuel Aondoakaa, the initiative represents a strategic opportunity to unlock Benue State’s economic potential through coordinated investment and stakeholder collaboration.
“Our goal is to work closely with government and development partners to implement scalable solutions that will improve livelihoods, strengthen infrastructure, and create sustainable opportunities for the people of Benue State,” he stated.
To advance this objective, Idealab Agency has proposed a high-level meeting with representatives of the Benue State Government as follows:

The meeting is expected to provide a platform for dialogue, alignment of priorities, and the establishment of a structured framework for implementation.
