The Senator representing Benue North East Senatorial District, the Most Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Memga Udende led party members across Benue North East Senatorial District where they massive Voted for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the APC presidential Primary election.
Addressing his supporters at the Ukum Local Government headquarters, Sankera, the senate Committee Chairman on Anti-corruption and financial Crimes explained that, President Tinubu has done so much for Benue and Nigeria in general, Sen. Udende identified infrastructure, improved Nigeria Economy as well as the appointment of Benue indigenes in key offices in his administration.
“For the first time in the history of Benue State we have our very Sen. George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), We have a Grade A Minister here in Benue State, Chairman North Central Development Commission (NCDC) amongst several other federal Government appointments in the state. We most collectively give the President another opportunity to continue with his good policies” Udende Stated.
Senator Udende However expressed dissatisfaction with the conduct of the immediate past APC National Assembly primaries where some individuals decided to manufacture results at Guest Houses and private residence against the designated council wards headquarters that, udende said was not acceptable insisting that some of those results will never stand.
The “Ikuen I Ukum” further appreciated the good people of Ukum and Benue North East Senatorial District for coming out in their numbers to Vote for the President. He added that trust and support for President Tinubu and APC will not go in vein.
On his part, the member representing Ukum State constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Ezra Nyiyongo encouraged party members to always support their leaders and quene up for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not just now, but to do so during the forth coming Presidential and National Assembly general elections for a better Nigeria.
While Senator Udende led Party Members to vote in his Tsaav Council Ward headquarters Afia, Engr. Ezra Nyiyongo was sited at Melabu in Mbayenge Council ward during the exercise.
